ORANGE JUICE - Forecasts for the 2008/09 crop in Brazil, while still poor, have increased since last month to 300- 320 million boxes for the commercial growing areas of Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais.
APPLE JUICE - The price of Polish apple juice concentrate has plunged yet again this month. With supplies so heavily discounted there is virtually no new business being concluded for Chinese apple juice concentrate in Europe.
LEMON JUICE - The current crop in Argentina is expected to be down by one third this year.
GRAPE JUICE - The grape crop in Argentina ended as expected with lower volumes heading to juice processors this season.
GRAPEFRUIT JUICE - While stocks of grapefruit concentrate in the US are still high, they have fallen recently due to an increase in exports.
PINEAPPLE JUICE - Demand from Europe is described as ‘lively’. Many importers have reportedly been asking for delivery earlier than they had anticipated.
MANGO JUICE - The alphonso crop in India is winding up while the totapuri crop is just beginning. The Colombian annual crop, which is halfway through the season, is forecast to be higher.
PASSIONFRUIT JUICE - Prospects for this year’s passion fruit crop in Ecuador continues to look bleak.
